Before becoming a guide, he worked at the Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC), where he was responsible for the training, enrichment, and welfare of various ungulates, primates, birds, and reptiles. In addition, he led conservation education to raise awareness among local schools, communities, and international visitors.
